課程概述 |
This course is designed to instruct students how to conduct a linguistic study, to write in an academic context and to present their work professionally. |
|
課程目標 |
This course is designed to instruct students how to conduct a linguistic study and help students become more familiar with methodology used in social research. We will cover both non-experimental and experimental research approaches. Besides research designs, we will also talk about hypothesis formation, research ethics, and report writing. Throughout the course, students are also expected to sharpen their writing and presentation skills required for students’ academic development. |
